This course expands upon what you learned in "Intro Retirement Bootcamp: How Much You Need Saved." It dives into the math behind how much you need to save each month in order to reach your target amount by a certain age. We'll explore sequence of return risk and inflation uncertainty in depth. This will allow us to incorporate necessary padding into your saving calculation. We'll tackle questions such as: *How do different preretirement glide paths change risk and reward probabilities? *What's the relationship between current net savings amount and risk? *If I have flexibility in when I retire, is it safer to choose a boom or bust market cycle? *Are target date funds and robo-advisors just as good as choosing your own assets? Or will they cost you in the long run? *What is tax-loss and tax-gain harvesting and how can I use them to my advantage? *What is a ROTH conversion and who should use it? *What types and in what order should I sell my assets? What are the tax implications? *If I have a mortgage, should I pay it off before I retire? Time Commitment: *5-Week Consecutive Course *1.5 Hours of Class Time per Week *1.5 Hours of Homework per Week Who Should Take This Course: Anyone who has taken "Intro Retirement Bootcamp: How Much You Need Saved" or has equivalent knowledge and wants to understand how much they need to save each month in order to hit their retirement goal on time and adjusted for inflation.
